A Sensitization Programme for Bachat Gats (Self Help Groups) was organised on 12th October 2008 at Lok Seva Sangh, Dadar. The Objective of this programme was to sensitize the women engaged in Bachat Gats (SHGs) about self employment opportunities, government initiatives and schemes. Around 24 participants participated in the programme. The attendance was diversified in nature. People leading several Bachat Groups attended the programme.

Presentations on Micro Finance and Self Employment Opportunities for Self Help Groups were given by Shri Vikrant Joglekar & Shri Vijay Joshi, Secretary respectively. Later Shri Bhushan Paithankar, President guided the members about how to start their own ventures.
