Small Industries Service Institute, Ministry of SSI, Govt. of India on request of Mai Marathi Sanstha has started Training Programme for Women at Panvel in association with Ministry of SSI. The details of the Programme are as under :-

Name of the Programme
Entrepreneurship cum Skill Development Programme for Women.
Duration : 40 working days. 
Fees : Rs.100/- only (Certificate will be issued on completion of the programme)

Theory Lectures imparted in 
Motivation for Entrepreneurship, How to start SSI, How to manage SSI, Bank Loan Schemes, Marketing Techniques, Sales Management, Project Report etc

Practical Training in
Manufacture of Leather & Rexine Items such as - Bags, Purses, Pouches, fancy items, Manufacture of Pefumes, Scents, Candle Making, Agarbatti making, fancy products like paper flowers, Glass & Ceramic Paintings etc. 

46 women are participating in this training. After the programme it was found that 25 women have successfully started their self employment ventures. Out of this 25, 12 women have formed a Cooperative Society by the name 'Shivgiri Udyogini Mandal'. Click here for more details.
