A follow up meeting with the members of Swaraj Self Help Group was organised. Members of Mai Marathi Sanstha and Swaraj met on 26th April 2009 at 7.30 pm.

The progress made by the group was briefed by Ms.Namrata Avera, Secretary & Ms.Aruna Chikane, Jt.Secretary briefed the progress made by the group. The group currently comprises of 17 women.

The group is getting good orders for preparing breakfast on the eve of General Elections.

Shri Vijay Joshi, Secretary, Mai Marathi Sanstha, guided the participants about urgent steps they need to take to sustain their progress. Shri Bhushan Paithankar, President in his remarks guided the participants to careful select the vocation and embark upon progress slowly but steadily.

The Training need of the group was also studied in detail. It was decided that the group would be imparted skill oriented training in trade of their liking.
