..Motivation Camp for SHGs at Kandivli

Mai Marathi Sanstha, Mumbai organised a One Day Motivation Camp for Women engaged in Self Help Groups (Bachat Gats) at Kandivli on 10/01/2009. Around 30 members from various SHGs were present for the programme.

The Women were imparted knowledge in various schemes of government. How to start a small scale enterprise, loan schemes etc. Shri Avdhut Kamat, Vice President, presented a presentation on activities of Mai Marathi, while Shri Vijay Joshi, Secretary briefed the participants about various government programmes & schemes.

Shri Prakash Mohite, a Motivational Speaker interacted with the participants and motivated them to opt for self employment. Shri Samir Manchekar coordinated the event. Shri Atul Pisal, Shri Sagar Ranjankar, Shri Bharat Korde, Ms. Anjali Wadekar, Mrs. Maitreyi, Shri Nitesh Mahadik, Shri Ajay Deorukhkar & Shri Dattaram Walvankar participated in the programme.

Around 25 participants enrolled themselves for further indepth training. Follow up of the programme is in progress.
