Prabalgad Machi is a remote place in Raigad District. It is cut off from developmental activities. Even basic needs of people like health care, education or communication is not taken proper care of, in this location.

Mai Marathi, to commemorate its One Year, arranged a Study Tour to Prabalgad Machi on 20/05/2007. The following members of Mai Marathi Sanstha attended this Study Tour. 
Shri Prasad Thakur, Ms.Seema Shelar, Shri Suhas Vichare, Shri Arunesh Parab, Shri Ashok Patil, Ms. Manjiri Dabholkar, Ms.Vanisha Rathod, Shri Dattaram Walvankar and Mrs.Vasanti Gadagi.

The basic purpose of this survey was to get first hand experience about the prevalent situation. The detailed Study Report is appended below and the action on the proposed interventions are in progress.
