A Motivation Camp on Self Employment was organised on 24th May 2009. Around 50 participants participated in the programme.

The programme began with the welcome address by Ms.Seema Shelar, Treasurer. Shri Bhushan Paithankar, President, in his power point presentation informed the participants about role and objective of Mai Marathi Sanstha.

In the Technical Session, information on topics such how to start business, government policies, various schemes, project finance schemes for small projects etc was disseminated by Shri Vijay Joshi. This was followed by an interactive and intense Question & Answer Session.

Shri Nitin Deshmukh of Nasik, who specially attended the programme presented the scope of Participation in FOREX, Commodity Market etc. He answered to various queries by the participants. Shri Avdhut Kamat, Vice President, summed up the session and delivered vote of thanks.

Members of Mai Marathi Sanstha viz. Shri Sagar Ranjankar, Ms Ranjita Shegokar, Shri Samir Manchekar, Shri Yogesh Shelar, Shri Rajesh, Ms. Kshama Keer, Ms. Manjiri Dabholkar, Ms.Vanisha Rathod, Shri Sandeep Kumbhar & Shri Rokade attended the programme. 

The programme was widely covered in newspapers such as Maharashtra Times, Loksatta, Pudhari, Sakal and Raigad Times.
