With a aim to create a level playing field for vernacular students, especially students who will go to & pass out from 10th standard Mai Marathi Sanstha started English Fluency & Career Guidance Programmes at Sundatta High School, Grant Road from 15th April 2009 to 30th April 2009. The objective of this Programme was to enhance the competitiveness and boost the confidence of the participant of this course. This programme is being conducted in association with a reputed English Fluency Development Institute Tendulkar's Academy, Mahim. . The Inaugural Function began at 08.00 am. Mai Marathi Sanstha was represented by Shri Avdhut Kamat, Vice President, Shri Vijay Joshi, Secretary, Ms.Seema Shelar, Treasurer, Shri Vikrant Joglekar, Shri Dattaram Walvankar, Shri Samir Manchekar, Ms. Aruna Chikane & Ms. Namrata Avere. The Principal of the School, Teaching Staff & Managing Trustees were also present for the Inaugural Function. . Shri Dattaram Walvankar began the initial Interaction, Later on Shri Vijay Joshi, Secretary, addressed the students and outlined the need and the object of the programme, he informed the programme schedule and other details to the students. Shri Avdhut Kamat, Vice President, presided over the proceedings. In his Presidential Speech, he urged the participants to actively participate in the training programme. Shri Dattaram Walvankar, Ms.Seema Shelar & Shri Vikrant Joglekar too impressed upon the students, the need adapt themselves in competitive world and importance of English. . Shri Devesh Tendulkar, Faculty, Tendulkar's Academy later on guided the students in depth. The course would conclude on 30th April 2009. . A Career Guidance Programme is scheduled on 26th April 2009, Reputed Faculties would guide students in new avenues in the liberalized world. . Similar Course is commencing from 04th May 2009 at Dayanand High School, Malad. |
