On the Occasion of International Women's Day Mai Marathi Sanstha Organised One Day Motivation Camp for Women at Police Camp, Tardeo, Mumbai.

47 participants participated in the programme. Amongst the participants were members of Self Help Group and prospective entrepreneurs. Powerpoint Presentations on Self Employment, Business Management and Self Help Group were given to the participants.

A group of 16 Women Participants amongst the above group met the members from Mai Marathi with the request to assist them in group formation activity.

After the programme, a meeting was conducted for these members. Mai Marathi assisted the women in formation of group, naming the group, selection of office bearers and framing of basic rules of the group. The group is named as "Swaraj Mahila Mandal". The same would be affiliated with Mai Marathi Sanstha. Mai Marathi would look into the training needs of this group.
