Marathi Community in general are worshippers of Goddess Saraswati rather than Goddess Laxmi, in other words, we are more devoted academically and not much money mattered. We make very good managers and poor entrepreneurs. This has had adverse effect on the entire social status of our people. Other communities which are more sound economically prosper financial, politically and in in all fields, whereas, we are contended playing second fiddle.
