Mai Marathi Sanstha, Mumbai in association with Smt. Meena Sonde, Corporator organised One Day Entrepreneurship Development Programme for Women engaged in Self Help Groups (Bachat Gats) on 21/12/2008 at Ulhasnagar. 118 Women Participants participated in the programme. The programme began with a motivational speech of Smt. Meenatai Sonde. She appealed to all the women participants to actively participate in the programme. Shri Bhushan Paithankar, President also motivated the participants. Shri Vijay Joshi, Secretary presented a presentation on Entrepreneurship.

During the Technical Demonstration Sessions, Shri Prakash Mohite, renowned faculty members of various training institutes spoke on varied issues and demonstrated preparation of Agarbatti, Phenyl & Perfumes to the participants.

As a part of hand holding support activity, Mai Marathi Sanstha & Smt. Meenatai Sonde, would provide further assistance to the trainees. Three separate groups of 30 ladies each were formed and each group would concentrate on one line of activity. These groups would be affiliated to Mai Marathi Sanstha and this group would act as a guide and mentor.
