Around 118 women participants were imparted training in Self Employment on 21/12/2008. As a part of follow up activity, Members of Mai Marathi Sanstha visited Ulhasnagar to assess the efforts taken by the women for Self Employment. The women, during their Training Sessions were given a deadline till 17th January, 2009 for self practice. They were asked to bring the products, they have practiced for inspection.

Accordingly, a Follow up meet was organised on 18th January, 2009 at Ulhasnagar. Members of Mai Marathi visited Ulhasnagar. In all 47 women participants attended the follow up meet. These 47 participants are from four different Self Help Groups as under :

1) Dhara Bachat Gat - 13 Members
2) M.T.Bachat Gat - 11 Members
3) Samruddhi Bachat Gat - 12 Members
4) Jeevan Jyot Bachat Gat - 11 Members

These ladies have selected Agarbatti & Perfumes as their activities. They procured raw material from Mumbai for practice and brought the finished products. The image gallery of their products, so produced, is placed under.  Though the participants have acquired an acceptable level of competence, some issues like standardization, quality continuance and up gradation etc needs to be focused and impressed upon them.

Mai Marathi Sanstha, on its part would now register its brand names with Trade Mark Authorities, the trainees who show interest in working would be given these brand names for use after fulfillment of certain criterions..
